Jeremy Knopow
BIO
Jeremy Knopow is a
multi-disciplinary innovation professional with over 17 years of holistic
experience up and down the new product development cycle. His positions have ranged from Design Mgr. to
GM at multiple Fortune 500 companies.
Currently at SC Johnson, Knopow created and
leads a new business Incubation group, as well as heading up the R&D
efforts for the company’s global social entrepreneurship initiatives. He is named on over 65 patents worldwide, and
his impact work has been featured by numerous global media outlets. In 2010 Knopow was
presented one of four IDSA Catalyst Awards, joining the Toyota Prius, OXO Good Grips, and Apple’s I-Pod for design’s power
to affect positive change. He is a
frequent guest lecturer and currently teaches as an Adjunct Professor of Design
at the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design.
Knopow holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering
and an MFA in Industrial Design, both from the
University
of
Illinois
at Urbana-Champaign.
